Refund policy

Every Royal Wristband adapter is quality-checked and tested before dispatch and shipped in perfect condition. Prices include VAT, and standard worldwide shipping is free on every order (premium shipping available at checkout). Because of this, our return policy is simple and strict.

Start here: email contact@theroyalpopstraps.com with your order number. Always contact us first for a return authorisation — never send items to the supplier. Items returned without authorisation, or to any other address, cannot be processed.

Limited production

Every Royal Wristband adapter is produced in limited runs — colourways sell out and are not always restocked. Because of this, exchange is our standard return route worldwide, and returned pieces are quickly re-homed to collectors. If an exchange doesn't suit you, limited pieces typically resell quickly at full value.

Exchanges — all shipping costs paid by the customer

Prefer a different model or colourway? You may request an exchange within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in original condition with all packaging. All shipping costs are paid by you: you arrange and pay the return shipping to our Amsterdam address (we do not provide return labels), and the shipping of your replacement is charged at our standard rate. Any customs or carrier fees are also yours. Store credit is available as an alternative.

Refunds — only for damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Full cash refunds apply only when something is genuinely wrong with the item; for change-of-mind orders outside the EU/EEA, a refund is possible minus a restocking fee (see United States & Rest of World below). If your adapter arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, email contact@theroyalpopstraps.com with a photo within 14 days and we'll make it right at our cost — usually with nothing to send back. EU/EEA customers' products also carry the 2-year EU legal guarantee against manufacturing defects present at delivery.

EU / EEA customers — your 14-day right of withdrawal

If you live in the EU or EEA, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it. Notify us within those 14 days, then return the item within 14 days of notifying us.

  • Return shipping to our Amsterdam address is arranged and paid entirely by you, the customer — no return labels are provided.
  • The item must be returned complete, unused, in original condition, with all packaging.
  • You may inspect the adapter as you would in a shop. If it comes back showing use beyond that, we apply a reduced refund reflecting the loss in value.
  • We withhold the refund until we have received the item back and inspected it, or you supply proof of return.
  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of being informed of your decision.

United States & Rest of World

Orders shipped outside the EU/EEA are not covered by the EU cooling-off period. Within 14 days of delivery, unused items in original condition with all packaging are eligible for one of three options: an exchange, store credit for the full amount, or a cash refund minus a 25% restocking and inspection fee. In every case, all shipping, customs and carrier costs are paid by the sender — no return labels are provided. All sales are final after 14 days.
